The lid lifter for Dutch ovens is intended solely for lifting and moving hot lids and cast iron cookware (e.g., Dutch ovens). Check for safe condition before each use, paying particular attention to any deformation, cracks, sharp edges, or loose connections. The lid lifter and cookware can become very hot during use – risk of burns. Use the lid lifter only with heat-resistant gloves and keep hot steam and any escaping liquids away from your hands and face. Always lift the lid slowly and carefully to avoid sparks, splashes, or sudden slippage. Use only on a stable, level, and fireproof surface and never leave the cookware unattended. Do not use the lid lifter as a lever or for carrying other loads. Allow to cool completely after use and store in a dry place to prevent corrosion. Children must not use the lid lifter and should only be near it under supervision. Discontinue use if damaged or unstable.
