This BBQ-Toro Kamado is a high-end charcoal grill that achieves optimal heat retention thanks to its high ceramic mass and airtight system. The chimney effect ensures efficient combustion of the fuel, significantly reducing fuel consumption.
Perfect grilling, cooking, smoking, baking, braising, and steaming – with this ceramic grill, you can try virtually any cooking technique. The sturdy, galvanized steel frame is equipped with four rubberized swivel casters, two of which have locking brakes. The removable side shelves offer plenty of space for your food. Integrated hooks are also provided for hanging grilling tools and other accessories.
The grill lid also features a thermometer for monitoring the internal temperature. The built-in air-lift hinge on the grill body allows for easy opening and closing of the ceramic lid. The kamado has a fiberglass gasket along the top and bottom ceramic edges, ensuring a perfect seal between the lid and the grill body when used with the lid latch.
This flexible cooking system allows you to customize your grilling experience with different temperature zones and grate types. Whether you want to grill steaks directly for those classic grill marks, cook food using indirect heat, bake pizza on a pizza stone, cook in a Dutch oven, braise your favorite roast in a pot or pan, or smoke fish or sausages – all this and much more is possible with this grill!
The two-part grill grate is ideal for adding fuel during grilling. Alternatively, the grates can be separated and used at different heights within the grill body to create a warming rack. Perfect pizza is easily achieved on the split pizza stones, which can also be used as deflector stones for indirect grilling. The grilling surface can be expanded to up to three levels, allowing you to utilize different temperature zones for direct grilling.
Not only is grilling easy, but so is smoking. Simply remove all the plates and racks from the frame and hang the fish or meat in the upper ring for smoking. Thanks to the pellet chute, you can add pellets and chips during the smoking process using the slider. Fill the pellet slider – empty it inside the kamado – done!
The stand offers various options and is therefore suitable for pots, pans, woks, or Dutch ovens in sizes 4.5QT, 6QT, 9QT, 12QT, and many more. The 62 cm diameter version can even accommodate an 18 QT Dutch oven. Simply place the Dutch oven in the kamado and start cooking.
The internal grill bowl consists of five segments, making the Kamado easier to assemble and even more break-resistant. Thanks to the included cover, the completely cooled grill can be stored safely anywhere after grilling. The divided firebox in the body ensures better air circulation and sufficient oxygen supply to the embers.
