The Mahlzeit pepper mill, made of high-quality cast iron, is a must-have in every kitchen. The ridges on both mill parts ensure even and gentle grinding of pepper, mustard seeds, spices, and dried herbs.

Simply fill the mill with peppercorns, covering the bottom at most, then insert the upper grinding section and gently twist. Your hand, the pressure and turn, determine the fineness of the grind. The upper part of the container serves as a storage compartment and is ideal for storing peppercorns and other dried spices. These can then be conveniently transferred to the mill as needed. Always grind your spices fresh before use to preserve their full aroma!

The grooves on the mill parts are attractive and ensure a secure grip while grinding. The elegant bamboo lid enhances the cast iron mill's appearance and, thanks to the silicone seal, protects the contents from light and aroma. As with our "preseasoned" products, the first step of the process involves coating the cast iron with soybean oil and seasoning it. However, the cast iron is then seasoned again using our specially developed process to create a higher-quality and more robust patina. Finally, as a third step, the conventional seasoning process is repeated.

The patina created by the PRO3+ process makes the cast iron less susceptible to rust.
