This spit weight set is the perfect accessory for your rotisserie. Whether you're roasting a roast or chicken, it sometimes happens that your skewered food isn't perfectly centered, resulting in an imbalance. This causes the electric rotisserie to rotate unevenly, leading to uneven grilling. This counterweight for rotisserie skewers prevents this and ensures the spit rotates smoothly.

And here's how it works:
Position your food (as evenly as possible) on the rotisserie spit and slide the counterweight over the spit (do not tighten it yet!). It doesn't matter at this stage whether the counterweight is positioned inside or outside the cooking chamber. Now place the spit with the food (roast, chicken, etc.) onto your rotisserie attachment (e.g., the notch in the side of the gas grill). If there is any imbalance, you will notice that the side with the greatest imbalance will rotate downwards.
- I. Position the counterweight vertically upwards (opposite the imbalance).
- II. Secure the counterweight by turning the "L-bar".
- III. Depending on the amount of imbalance, slide the weight along the "L-bar" and fix it so that the imbalance of the food being grilled is balanced by the counterweight.

The delivery includes a counterweight and a bearing. This can be mounted on the opposite side of the motor, on the spit rod, so that the bearing runs in the groove of the side wall instead of the spit rod. This allows for smoother and more even rotation of the spit (with square and hexagonal spit rods) and prevents the spit rod from slipping out of the motor.
