The CampFeuer firesteel set consists of a firesteel with a fire starter, paracord, and tinder. The set is the perfect companion for all outdoor activities such as hiking and camping. Unlike conventional lighters, the firesteel ignites without electricity or gas. The fire starter not only ignites the flint but can also be used as a bottle opener, hex key, ruler, map scale, and much more.

The firesteel can be easily ignited with just a few simple steps using the multi-tool. Simply prepare easily ignitable tinder or kindling, hold the firesteel by its handle over it, and quickly scrape the steel from top to bottom with the fire starter. Apply enough pressure to produce sparks.

The hollow aluminum sleeve surrounding the tinder gives you complete control over the flame. To extinguish the flame, simply pull the wick fully into the sleeve, thus depriving the flame of oxygen. The tinder can be ignited with a firesteel and all conventional methods, making it the ideal companion for any hiking or camping trip.

The paraffin wax surrounding the hemp fibers not only serves as a long-lasting fuel but also protects them from moisture. This wax makes the tinder cord extremely durable, water-resistant, and windproof – the same applies to the firesteel.

Thanks to its compact size, the firesteel with accessories and tinder is easy to transport and fits in any backpack. The paracord loop attached to the firesteel can easily be used as a shoulder strap.
