The pan with lid from Mahlzeit is ideal for frying, braising, boiling, and preparing meat, fish, vegetables, and many other dishes. The cast iron pan has excellent heat conductivity and distributes heat evenly to the food being cooked.

Re-season the pan before first use to maintain the polish and non-stick properties. Use plenty of vegetable oil during the first few uses to further strengthen the patina.

This high-sided pan features a long handle and two spouts, allowing for easy portioning and pouring without spills. Made of cast iron, the pan is heat-resistant and therefore perfect for use in the oven, on the stovetop, and on the grill.

With its generous diameter, the steak pan with glass lid offers ample space for cooking a good amount of food. The pan's substantial weight ensures stability. Thanks to its finely polished surface, the cast iron pan is also extremely scratch-resistant.

The polishing process also extends to the base of the cast iron frying pan, making it ideal for use on electric and induction cooktops in addition to glass-ceramic ones. A practical notch in the handle allows for convenient hanging of the pan in the kitchen.

Always use the skillet on a suitable heat source and be aware that it will become very hot when heated. To protect against burns, use heat-resistant gloves or oven mitts when handling the skillet. Ensure that children cannot touch the hot skillet. Do not use the skillet in a microwave. Allow the hot skillet to cool completely before cleaning to prevent damage and cracking. Clean it by hand only and dry it thoroughly to prevent rust.
